Please be advised that Fairfax County will stop taking new requests or applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program effective June 30, 2022. Applications received up through that date will be assessed for funding with the existing ERA eligibility criteria. Moving forward to support housing stability, Fairfax County has developed a new program – the Fairfax County ERA Bridge Program – which will launch July 1, 2022. The ERA Bridge Program eligibility includes: Fairfax county residents, household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), Rental Rate up to 150% of the Fair Market Rent (FMR), up to three months of assistance to maintain or secure sustainable housing (Arrears or Current Months only).
